This report presents an assessment of MAG’s Humanitarian Mine Action Multi-Country Programme, funded by the Government of Norway.

The programme ran from August 2022 to December 2025 and supported work across ten MAG programmes in fourteen countries: Cambodia, the Central Sahel (Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger), Iraq, Laos, Lebanon, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Syria, West Africa (Guinea-Bissau, Mauritania, Senegal), and Zimbabwe.

The report provides an overview of the programme’s achievements, challenges, and lessons learned during this period. It also highlights the impact of Norway’s support in enabling land clearance, protecting civilians, and helping communities rebuild their safety and livelihoods.

Through this assessment, MAG aims to share clear and evidence-based insights into the programme’s results and sustainability, demonstrating our accountability to partners and our commitment to improving the effectiveness of mine action worldwide.
