Urgent Appeal for Lebanon

We are on the ground in Lebanon, working directly with communities impacted by conflict, teaching families how to stay safe whilst living around explosive items. The information covers vital safety measures, including what to look out for, how to avoid rubble, and how to report a hazard.

So far, we have reached over 6.5 million people online with life-saving risk education messages, delivered 224,730 leaflets and conducted 249 in person risk education sessions; each advert, leaflet, session could save countless lives.

This is vital, potentially life-saving information with lessons drawn directly from our risk education work in Gaza.

Please donate today, every penny you give will go directly to help our emergency response in Lebanon.

In Lebanon, intense, heavy bombardments are destroying homes, roads, and critical infrastructure, forcing thousands of civilians to flee for the second time in two years.

In every conflict, civilians bear the heaviest burden. Nine out of ten people who are killed or injured are civilians. Children, who never start wars, are often among those who suffer the most. In conflict zones, they account for nearly half of all civilian casualties caused by landmines and unexploded bombs.

Read MAG's statement on the latest events in Lebanon here.

"FOR TEN YEARS, I WORKED HARD TO BUILD A HOME WITH SWEAT AND HOPE, BRICK BY BRICK, A SANCTUARY FOR MY CHILDREN. BUT THE WAR CAME, TAKING MORE THAN JUST WALLS AND A ROOF; IT TOOK MY DREAMS, LEAVING ME WITH NOTHING BUT THE PAIN OF DISPLACEMENT. A FATHER'S JOURNEY IS NOT JUST TO PROVIDE, BUT TO PROTECT, AND I WORRY FOR MY KIDS ALONG THE WAY. AND NOW, IN THE RUINS OF THE PAST, I WILL REBUILD AGAIN, NOT FROM STONE, BUT FROM THE COURAGE TO CARRY ON."

With your support, our teams will deliver life-saving risk education to help keep families safe in Lebanon.

PLEASE DONATE NOW

Every penny you give counts.
