Support Services Assistant (Travel)

Starting salary for this position is £18,960 per annum (plus contributory pension)

We are seeking a Support Services Assistant to join our Management Support Team. If you’re a pro-active, organised administrator with a great eye for detail, excellent communication skills and previous travel administration experience, why not use your skills in an amazing global charity, helping to save lives around the world, all from a fantastic office in Manchester city centre!

Based in our Manchester head office, you will be responsible for coordinating travel bookings for MAG staff worldwide and providing the highest level of office support. The role will involve advising staff on travel arrangements and organising travel documentation including passports and visas, liaising with embassies and MAG programmes overseas as necessary. The Support Services Assistant will act as an effective first point of contact for the switchboard and reception services for MAG, dealing with all callers and visitors efficiently and managing post. The role will also involve providing administrative support to members of the UK Management Team, including processing of expense claims, time sheets, annual leave monitoring and other administrative demands.

A key part to this role will be developing effective working relationships with MAG’s appointed travel provider and all MAG staff, providing excellent customer service.

We are looking to hear from people with proven travel administration experience and ideally, you will have experience of providing administrative support in a busy office environment. Above all, you will need to be approachable, flexible, super organised, have a good eye for detail and be ready to work in a busy role, taking pride in your work and striving for perfection.
