Government Relations Coordinator

Starting salary - £31,776 per annum (plus contributory pension)
The successful candidate can choose to work from MAG’s Manchester office or to work from home within the UK, with attendance in the office as required. The anticipated level of office attendance is two days a week.
We are looking for two exceptional Government Relations Coordinators to work within our Government Relations team. One role is permanent and the other is a fixed term contract until 31st March 2023. When applying, please specify your preference.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic international charity that shared the 1997 Nobel Peace-Prize.
You will be supporting the Government Relations Managers and the Head of Government Relations to deliver initiatives designed to ensure the strategic and tactical growth of the organisation through contract coordination and stakeholder engagement.
You will support on the management of a portfolio of existing multi-country contracts, providing day-to-day coordination, management, development and donor engagement, ensuring effective contract management and a consistent approach to delivery and reporting across relevant programmes. You will also support the development of new programmes through the preparation and coordination of proposals, management of partner relationships, cross department engagement and donor representation.
The successful candidate will have previous experience of developing successful relationships with external stakeholders and experience of coordinating tenders and proposal development processes. You will have a proven track record in handling a busy and changing workload, meeting targets and deadlines in a fast-paced environment and an ability to build, manage and develop relationships with key stakeholders. Excellent coordination, project management and communication skills will also be essential.
Fluency in either Arabic, French, German and Spanish would be highly desirable.
