Communications Officer, Manchester City Centre

£25,272 - £28,596 per annum plus contributory pension

About the role

Are you a super-creative communicator who wants to use their skills for the greater good?

We’re looking for a driven, self-motivated communications officer to join our small and high-performing communications team which has a significant portfolio of responsibilities, including support for the fundraising, policy and international programme teams, as well as global campaigns.

You’ll work to develop our communications approach, creating content for our channels including social media, blogs, reports, press releases and briefings. You’ll have an eye for timely, reactive content and know when and how to deploy different tactics to engage a variety of audiences.

An excellent writer, you’ll be social media savvy, have a good eye for detail and design and be adept at planning ahead. You’ll be great at proactively identifying stories across the organisation and confident in liaising with colleagues – both in the UK and internationally – to get stunning content and craft engaging narratives.
