A physical challenge with an historical twist. Cycle 500km from London to Paris to commemorate D-Day 2013.
Date: 18-23 June 2013
Our exciting cycle challenge follows the path of an allied soldier, from London to Portsmouth and over the channel to the Normandy D-Day landing beaches, Arromanches and Pegasus Bridge.
Cycling on, we trace some of the region's most significant World War Two battle sites, most notably the Falaise Gap, the site of a crucial battle in August 1944.
Our historic journey comes to an end as we celebrate the Liberation of Paris and pedal towards our finish line under the Eiffel Tower. We will be accompanied throughout by expert battlefield guide Andrew Date of Battlefield Journey.
Registration fee: £200 (or £150 before 30 November 2012)
Minimum sponsorship target: £1,800
