Anna's Cambodia Challenge

In March 2009 I will be heading to Cambodia on a journey which will not only change my life, but the lives of people for whom landmines pose a daily threat.

I will be part of a team who will be helping to build houses for land mine survivors, and will meet with the demining teams whose work helps communities affected by land mines. These communities are in desperate need of agricultural land, schools, health clinics, road access, clean water sources and improved resettlement opportunities - things which we all take for granted.

By volunteering to take part in this project,  I now face the challenge of raising £2,795  - more than half of this money will go directly to the Mines Advisory Group - helping them to continue with their fantastic work clearing mines and supporting land mine victims around the world.

If you would like to support what I think you will agree is a really worthwhile cause, please sponser me via the link on this page. I will be holding a number of events over the next 6 months to raise money for this project, and hope you'll check back on this site regularly to see updates on what I am doing next and to offer your support.

Thank you so much for your help!
