Explosive remnants of conflict from Israel's recent bombardment continue to pose a threat to daily life in Gaza, the United Nations Mine Action Service (UNMAS) has reported.

Hundreds of unexploded bombs are thought to be buried in the ruins of buildings, with unconfirmed reports indicating that seven people, including six children, have been killed and 26 injured in eight separate incidents since the end of January.
As well as posing the risk of death of injury, the presence of unexploded ordnance hinders the reconstruction of homes, infrastructure and agricultural land.
MAG is working as an implementing partner of UNMAS to support the post-conflict reconstruction and rehabilitation efforts.
Your donation to MAG helps us to move into current and former conflict zones to clear the remnants of those conflicts, enabling recovery and assisting the development of affected populations.
