We're looking for Regional Co-ordinators from all over the UK to help boost the profile of Music Beats Mines in your area.
Music Beats Mines is an ongoing festival of music, poetry and the arts to raise funds for MAG's lifesaving work around the world.
We’re in the process of creating a legion of Music Beats Mines followers who together are helping MAG to rid the world of the landmines, unexploded bombs and other deadly remnants of war that destroy lives long after conflict has ended.
And this is where you come in – to help us to continue to grow the campaign, and ultimately save more lives.
The purpose of each Regional Co-ordinator is to help to raise the profile of the Music Beats Mines campaign to students, youth groups, promoters, venues, musicians, arts enthusiasts and artists.
We aim to encourage a diverse range of audiences to hold events for MAG, raising awareness of its lifesaving work and raising much needed funds, whilst having a fun time and learning new skills along the way.
The role requires contacting the relevant audiences through new media websites, blogs, email and telephone. MAG can provide the materials for Music Beats Mines events, whilst the co-ordinator will spread the message of the campaign and try and engage local resident ensuring it is inclusive and exciting.
The co-ordinator will decide who may be relevant to contact and what kind of events would work well in the area.
You’ll gain valuable experience in events, marketing and networking and will be fully supported by the team at MAG.
For more information and to register your interest in being a co-ordinator in your town get it touch with Cat at catherine.smith@maginternational.org or 0161 238 5448.
