Mrs Woman's 'For One Day Only' Busking Tour of Cumbria
Mrs Woman's unique and truly remarkable MBM saw her play 40-minute acoustic sets in five towns in Cumbria, ending up in Cockermouth, which is where MAG started out before we moved to Manchester. Li'l bit of trivia for you, fact fans.
It took her 11-and-a-half hours to do the full 170-mile circuit, togged up to the hilt with many layers to combat the cold..

Sharkeys, Hull
26 July 09
Matt Kirby took Music Beats Mines to Hull to coincide with his Great Guitar Giveaway raffle to raise funds for MAG. The gig took place at Sharkeys on George Street with three bands playing: Pitiful Reign, Pastel Jack and Violent Deception.
Pitiful Reign headlined and also gave a signed copy of their album 'Visual Violence' as a prize for the draw.
"Everyone had a great time!" said Matt. "The success of the Sharkeys gig has really inspired me to do really well with these (future gigs). Now I know which venues are viable and can keep any costs to an absolute minimum, I'm really confident of achieving some good results. If my schemes all come off it should be great."
