Developing Good Practice For Measuring The Success, Effectiveness And Impact Of PSSM

MAG convened a two-day expert meeting in London in March 2016, as part of its Practical Disarmament Initiative project. The meeting considered approaches to measuring the success, effectiveness and impact of international assistance in Physical Security and Stockpile Management (PSSM).

This report summarises the key topics and themes identified, along with recommendations for policy and practice.

The  German Federal Foreign Office and the US Department of State’s  Office of Weapons Removal and Abatement are two of the leaders in improving the safe and secure storage and management of weapons and munitions.
