Throughout the week of action, 28th March – 4th April, events and activities took place all over the world to raise funds for and awareness of MAG’s life-saving work.
On the 4th April, the UN International Day for Mine Awareness, thousands made the day Safe Socks Day, wearing a pair of bright red MAG socks to highlight the part of the body most commonly affected in landmine explosions.
