UK Finance Manager

£30,957 to £33,827 per annum (plus contributory pension)
Manchester city centre based

MAG is currently seeking to appoint to the role of UK Finance Manager, based at our Manchester city centre head office. Reporting to the Head of Finance & Support Services the successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our UK finance function, including Financial & Management Accounting, Sales & Purchase Ledger, Payroll Administration, VAT, Cashflow and Balance Sheet Maintenance. In this role, the successful candidate will also manage a team of 3 finance staff.

In this position you will play a key role in the development and control of MAG's systems, including our accounting software, PS Financials, and lead in the design and implementation of financial processes that will improve transparency and accountability across the organisation.

Your background in financial accounting will ensure that you can deliver against the requirements of SORP 2005 and your ability to analyse complex transactions across multi-currency accounts will be crucial to your success.

With a genuine interest in the humanitarian sector, your strong communication skills will enable you to engage with and support other departments. You should demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail and show an ability to support and empower your team in the delivery of task-plans.
