Fundraising ideas

Sponsored Hop Along: Children living in post conflict areas are more likely to be injured in landmine accidents. Some children have lost an arm or a leg. Why don't you see how it feels and spend a lunch time hopping around the playground, or day with your arm at your side so you can't use it (it should be the arm you don't use to write with so it doesn't affect your studies).

Clear Your Classroom: It costs £1.50 for MAG to clear landmines from one square metre of land. Work out how many square metres of floor there are in your classroom and try to raise enough money to clear it.

Dress-Up: Choose a landmine affected country and hold a themed day at school where everyone dresses in traditional clothing. Prizes can be awarded to the person with the best outfit.

Taste It: Hold a picnic or similar food related event where all the food comes from a landmine affected country.

Pop Idol: Hold a talent contest to find your school's Pop Idol.

Ideas: There are lots of ideas to help you fundraise for MAG in our A to Z of fundraising ideas.
