Ronnie's Motorcycle!

MAG supporter, Ronnie Russell, was invited to go to Goodwood on the 24-26th June 2007 with his motorbike for American Scott Russell to ride.

Scott was Superbike World Champion in 1993 and needed a bike to perform on and Ronnie took the opportunity to get the MAG logo out there at the same time!

Ronnie says:

"The team is owned by Des Collins and I guess I am the team’s crew chief. Des has 3 1000cc ZX10s,  3 750 ZXRs and 2 ZX600s, these are all Kawasaki racing machines. We have had great success in the last 10 years, winning the Manx Grand Prix 3 times and racing as far away as Estonia in 2000 and New Zealand in 2001/2.

The reason why we have MAG on the bike is because I support the cause and have donated at Christmas for the last 3 years. I became a where of MAG when I was in Vietnam contesting a charity cycle ride in 2004; I have since been back to Vietnam in 2006.

We were invited to Goodwood this year because we have 3 of the best 750s in captivity. The organizers invited American Scott Russell (no relation) to ride as he was World Superbike Champion in 1993 on a Kawasaki 750."
