Rob, Ems & Fi are going to swim 1500m, cycle 40km and run 10km (respectively) at this year's London Triathlon, Olympic distance team relay, on Saturday 9th August.
We are raising funds for MAG, as their work has left a lasting impression on us during our various travels. While in Laos we saw MAG undertaking the dangerous work of clearing mines, not only in fields, but also in tourist attractions as well. It's over 30 years since the Vietnam war ended(during which Laos was also heavily bombed), but generations of Laotians still live with the fear of being maimed and killed whilst trying to live on their own land.
MAG were out in force in Laos when we visited, and they also carry out similar work in many other countries. They do a dangerous and extraordinary job, and we hope you'll be able to offer them your support.
