On March 10th 2007 I, along with 40 other cyclists, rode into Las Vegas having spent 6 days cycling 250 miles through the sweltering heat of Death Valley. Along the way we had all been left awestruck by the breathtaking sights we had experienced, and struggled against, but it was the months of fundraising and gathering support that had gone before which made the ride a great success.
The Death Valley Cycle Challenge became MAG’s most successful challenge event to date: raising enough money to clear 60,000sq/m of land!
It was this experience and meeting the people involved with this great charity that made me want to challenge myself again. In June 2008 I will begin my 250 mile solo ride through the Colorado Rockies and I hope you all can support me in making this challenge a success.
