Hey all,
On the 4th November I will embark on a challenge of a lifetime by cycling over 430 km in 5 days through one America’s hottest and most mountainous National Parks, Death Valley, to help raise money for Mines Advisory Group (MAG).
I have just received my medical "all clear" to take part in this event. I and now beginning the gruelling training to morph myself in 3 months from a 16 stone , desk ridden, taxi taking lump into a Lance Armstrong look-a-likey. The challenge involves cycling an average of 86km a day through the tough terrain of Death Valley which boasts the world's highest ever recorded temperature at 134F/57C with altitudes ranging from sea level to 5500 ft.
The reason I am doing this is to raise money for a very worthwhile charity that aims to make a real difference to everyday life. MAG is one of the world's leading humanitarian organizations providing conflict-affected countries with a real chance for a better future. The money I raise will help to clear the remnants of conflict including landmines and unexploded bombs from some of the world's poorest nations.

I am aiming to raise £4000 in the next 4 weeks.
Please help me to support the work of this charity by sponsoring me in this challenge.
Thank you in advance for your support.
Harry
