Celebrity Shoe Auction

Kelly Knox launched Give Landmines the Boot 2009

This year MAG (Mines Advisory Group) is running an online shoe auction to raise vital funds to support its work clearing landmines and destroying weapons across the globe.

The campaign raises draws attention to the part of the body most vulnerable to landmines. In the past a host of big names including David Bowie, Jensen Button, and Sir Paul McCartney all donated. In total MAG's shoe auctions have raised £20,000 to date.

The more famous feet that get involved means more lives saved. It's that simple. The auction will take place online in April 2010.

2010 donors already secured include:

Eric Idle
P!nk
Vikram Solanki
Brian May
The Doves
