In November 2010, 15 MAG supporters from across the world made the long journey to Cambodia to take part in an adventure that could only be described as life-changing.
After trekking for two days through the greater Angkor Wat region they embarked upon a project to build traditional Khmer houses for the poor and victims of landmines. At the end of the challenge two families moved into their new homes after Buddhist blessing ceremonies.
The experience for all who took part was both humbling and life changing, so far they have raised over £45,000 for MAG's landmine clearance programmes and the money is still coming in.
A huge thank you to everyone who took part!

"Community Challenge Cambodia was hands down the most amazing experience I have ever had. It's hard to put into words just how impacting and rewarding this challenge was. To be associated with such a wonderful, inspirational charity, to experience local culture and amazing people is something that will remain me with forever. I felt extremely honoured to be a part of this adventure and would encourage everyone to do this at least once in their life."

"Participating in the community challenge in Cambodia was both a privilege and humbling. The organisation and execution of this trip proves the professionalism of both MAG and Action Challenge. Next time you do a similar event - count me in! Thank you."

What the villagers thought...
...it was wonderful and it was very successful. I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to whole group. I hope in next future we can work together for these venerable people. The feelings of the villagers are really unimaginable. They never expected that these foreigners can work and donate the house for the disabled. They are very thankful to all of you for your great help and medical assistance. For me when I look at whole event it was marvelous and very encouraging. I wish and hope that in next future we can work hand in hand. Once again on behalf of Jesuit Service Team I thank all of you for your great support and contribution."
