Cluster casualties continue

Make spoons, not war

More bang for your buck

Buried menace
BLUs or cluster bomblets - known to the locals as "bombies" - are notoriously unstable. Removing the munition could cause it to explode, so the controlled demolition has to be done in situ. (2 March 06)

Nong Het district in Xieng Khouang province, is characterised by rolling green mountains and breathtaking views. It is also sadly one of the most UXO contaminated areas of the country. (16 December 05)
