City of Luena benefiting from water plant clearance
Prior to MAG’s clearance of the city’s Bairro Bomba water plant, Luena’s 300,000 population had been forced to use contaminated water direct from the local river, resulting in high rates of diarrhoea and other waterborne diseases. (2 June 08)

Schoolchildren aim to raise Treaty profile
Three students at Luanda International School are contacting schoolchildren around the world in the hope of persuading non-signatory governments to sign the international agreement that bans anti-personnel landmines. (10 March 08)
