MAG is mostly funded by institutional donors, international governments, foundations and other charities, listed below.
These funds make up the bulk of MAG's funds and are a vital part of the global work we do to rid the world of the impact of the remnants of conflict. Most of our income is project-specific, whereby the funds can only be spent on predetermined projects and activities.
MAG also receives income from members of the public around the world who wish to support its vital work, through both donations and participation in fundraising events.
This income is extremely important – it is used when and where needed most. This could be in providing emergency response as soon as a conflict has ceased. It could help to continue to fund one of MAG’s vital field programmes where institutional grants are no longer available.
Public donations also enable MAG to start up new programmes in countries not yet supported by grants. All donations from the public are gratefully received.
